CALL 585-314-2407 June 2008 The fishing for June has been very good. Good catchers of Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Salmon & Steelhead. Big salmon this month was just a little over 20lbs., Brown Trout 10 lbs. We did a Lake Trout on June 20th that weighed 22 lbs. That fish would of been in first place in the LOC derby Lake Trout division if the customer was in the derby. Best lures have been Michigan Stinger Stinray size Dirty White Boy, Green Glow Alwife & Black Widow. The good fishing should continue into July. Northern King and Hammerhead cowbells have been working good on Lake Trout. May- 2008 The fishing is starting to heat up. Good catches of steelhead, lakers and salmon. Big salmon was 18lbs. lake trout 12lbs. and steelhead 10lbs. Brown trout fishing was a little slow this month. April 2008....We started fishing this year on April 11th. Overall April was a very good month. We had a couple of slow days due to poor conditions but for the most of the month the fishing was great. We started off with our usual Brown Trout fishing right after ice out. (See photo's for April 08) As the month progressed we started to get into Coho Salmon, Steelhead and a occasional Chinook Salmon. The big brown for the month was 12lbs., the big steelhead 10.5 lbs and the big Salmon was 15lbs. I have pictures of these fish in our photo gallery. Please check every month for updated information on Salmon fishing on Lake Ontario from the Port of Rochester, NY. Tight Lines, Capt. Sam Zucco August, September & October 2007...Salmon fishing was fantastic as we were out fisihing just about every day. Daily catches consisted mostly of chinook and coho salmon with a few steelhead mixed in. The big salmon for the year was 31 lbs. it was caught in September by a fisherman from New Jersey. July 2007 Fishing Report...July was a very good month of fishing. We were catching mostly Chinook Salmon and Brown Trout. Big king salmon for the month was 28 lbs. caught by Richie Horan from Boston. Big Brown trout was caught by me while derby fishing in the LOC Summer Derby 14lbs. 10 ozs. Big Lake trout was caught by Don T. from Addison NY. 15 lbs. The Kings, Browns and Lakers are getting fat and August and September sould be fantastic. The Fishing was excellant for May and June. We had a couple of slow days but for the most part the fishing was on fire. Fish we are catching now are Kings, Rainbows, Brown Trout and Lake Trout. Big King so far 25 lbs, Big Brown Trout 13.5 lbs., Rainbow 14 lbs and Lake Trout 16lbs. We are looking foward to fishing in July. Check out our photo album, we will be adding more photos soon. Summer LOC derby ends on July16th. The month of April 2007 was one of the best April's ever. We had limit catches just about every day. Customers had a great time catching mostly Brown Trout and Coho Salmon. We have been trolling close to shore in about 5 - 10 feet of water using planner boards and downriggers. I expect May to be just as good as the fish are hungry after the cold winter that we had here in upstate New York. The Spring Elso derby starts on Friday May 4th and ends on May 13th and fishing should be very good. I have two days available ( May 8th & 10th) if you would like to get in on the action and win a few thousand $$$ for yourself. Top prize is $10,000.
